Church with a Rich History

The little church, with humble beginnings, is a beacon in the community.

Swedish settlers wanted freedom to worship and practice their faith, without the restrictions placed on them back in Sweden in the 1800's.

They came over as farmers, merchants, craftspeople, and fishermen.

Then & Now

In 2012, our congregation made the decision to construct a prayer garden where once the parsonage stood. You are welcomed to enjoy at the church's beautiful little garden and gazebo, overlooking the village of Stockholm. In the springtime, the grounds are filled with the scent of fresh lilacs. Experience the solitude of our prayer garden anytime of the year!
